Would have to hear a platform for Ron
That being said Trump dropped the ball on some issues when he had the chance and his age is a concern
Gonna need some serious mega balls to turn this country around

Seriously? Age is no factor

DeSantis backs his words, I'm in his camp

Trump:
- allowed Fauci and Birx to spearhead covid direction
- initiated the economic shutdown for a fn virus with "15 days to flatten the curve"
- appointed radical Wray as director of FBI
- appointed useless Bill Barr as AG
- did not free Assange
- authorized ahemm Warp Speed creation of a deadly vaccine and absolved Big Pharma from any retribution
- just endorsed doctor fn Oz for PA senator
- couldn't get the wall built or really do anything about border protection
- continued to flood Ukraine with millions of dollars of our money so the elite could continue to use the nation as it's personal money-laundering scheme
- did nothing to repeal Obamacare resulting in another series of 10%+ premium increases in healthcare
- massively increased our trade debt, largely to China
- did not calmly, systematically pull out of Afghanistan and Yemen resulting in Joey's Ghani blunder and another few hundred of thousands of dead Yemenis
- did not repeal Section 230 allowing social media to become a psycho lib cesspool
- nominated a shockingly bad SCOTUS named Kavanaugh
- always played defense, never offense, against the Marxists including blocking the wave of mail-in ballots which were clearly going to backfire on him

yes he did some good things like PPP, running from Paris deal, making USA an energy independent country, and at least highlighted the issues at our southern border, ended DACA, ended ISIS, brought minority unemployment to record lows, got millions off gov't assistance, and stopped the blue wave of Federal judge appointments.

But his early handling of Covid and the people he let take lead with Covid, as AG, and as Dir of FBI is unconscionable whereas DeSantis has separated himself as a true Conservative leader. Trump will also be 78 in 2025 and I'm done with old men losing their minds during a Presidency

DeSantis isn't even running until all the corruption is dealt with. He knows the Deep State would crush him.

I'm talking the criminal elements within our govt - infiltration by transnational criminal organizations.

That's Trump's main focus and still ongoing.

In all fairness as to what Trump didn't do, his hands were tied on a lot of what he wanted to do. Over the years the deep state has installed bureaucrats to carry out their agenda that the president cannot touch. Fauci is a prime example.

like it or not the gerontocracy in this nation has to stop. fucking things up and then dying a few years later to leave the rest of us with debts, wars, and bullshit has been going on too long. no matter how much you like Trump I don't want ANY 82YO deciding shit in his last year of a presidential term any more than I want them running a company or performing a surgery

He's not running in this cycle.

Do we have a DeSantis thread? Or do I just park this here:

"It's basically a Ministry of Truth"

"We reject this bureau in the state of Florida."

“We’re not going to let Biden get away with this one. So we will be fighting back.”

These people are so stupid.

I think DeSantis is more electable.

Anything has to be better than the current clown show.

crazy factoid for you folks that don't think age of candidates should be a concern...

The combined age of the President, the Speaker of the House, and the Ranking Member of the Senate Judiciary Committee (Feinstein) is 249 years old. The United States will be 247 years old in July.

All 3 will be at least 80 years old by the end of this year with Feinstein turning 90 next year. wtf?

and it's not just a DEM thing. Rino Mitch is 80, Chuck Grassley and Richard Shelby are 88, Jim Inhofe 87...

I know Trump will keep his word and work on passing the policies I love

No other candidate, besides maybe Newt, comes close

If DeSantis will be true to his word on the national level, if he's willing to spill blood and sacrifice political capital to advance an agenda I like, I'll bite
